Anyone thinks “notasugarhere” is Kaiser? I am not one for conspiracy theories but the writing style is very similar.
Anyway, regardless, on the controversy of a librarian rejecting Dr. Seuss books that Melani Trump gave, notasugarhere seems to be the only person working hard to justify it.
My view is that you don’t look a gift horse in the mouth. If something is given with good intentions, you accept it and move on. You can decide how to handle the gift later, if you don’t actually need it. Anything else is very rude and hurtful.

Ha-ha. Kaiser is tying herself into a pretzel to prove the point that the Wonder Woman is a feminist icon and James Cameron is wrong. I know nothing about James Cameron, the person, but his point is valid and whatever his personal failing are, his point still stands on its own.
The Wonder Woman is not a feminist icon. It is disgrace to consider her as such because the character relies too much on the looks and the sexy outfits. Let’s not pretend the tiny outfit that WW wears is an accident.
Pippi Longstocking is more of a feminsit icon than WW will ever be. I feel sad for young American women who are taught that WW is something to aspire and who don’t have enough exposure to strong female characters to know any better.

Anonymous asked: I have no idea why I was banned from Celebitchy. How can I find out the reason?
I don’t think so. But it is safe to say that it was whatever your posted the last day. I know some people even emailed the Celebitchy owner asking to be unblocked because they felt they didn’t do anything wrong. They never got any response back, of course.
Some of them got eventually unblocked after a year or so, once their IP addresses disappeared from the blocked list. It looks like whatever blocking software CB uses, it clears up IP addresses after 6 months or a year.

Anonymous asked: Do you know what happened to Virgilia Coriolanus? She was my favorite commenter.
No, I don’t. If anyone knows, feel free to shoot me a note. I’ll post it. I remember her as well. She had very thoughtful posts.
I also remember Nutballs. She was funny, she was a Hiddleston fan. Once she ventured outside of Hiddles posts into something more controversial and got banned.
P.S.
I just checked Lianna’s site, I thought I saw Viriginia’s posts there. Here is her last one from this July. Maybe she did start her own site.
Yeah–I haven’t been commenting on CB as often. Part of it is because I don’t want to write a comment and then have it modded–especially if I worked looong and haaard on that comment too. I’m also annoyed that you apparently can’t write about hot dreams about Tom Hardy, but they’ll let people GO TO TOWN on the Jennifer/Justin/Brad/Angelina threads. I mean, I honestly start dreading reading the threads because of a few people who just go after people for disagreeing. Why aren’t any of their comments deleted?
But yeah, I was telling my friend this, and she told me to start my own site—she convinced me…..:)

For the love of peace, why are they still going on about Hillary Clinton? She is irrelevant.
On the day Bernie makes his “Medicare for all” proposal, there is no word of it on the supposedly progressive CB site, but a post again about Hillary and why it is not her fault.
There are only two people who dared to say - why are we still talking about Hillary, and both were attacked by all the hardcore Hilalry supporters repeatedly. They were accused of lying, being trolls, having ulterior motives and were told that they didn’t need to comment at all, if they didn’t care for Hillary.
It has been in the back of my mind the whole day, what does this behavior remind me of. And it finally clicked - a cult. That is exactly how cult members behave. The viciousness of the pro-Hillary posters on CB just goes a bit too far outside the accepted norms. The constant accusations of lying and having dishonest motives are hallmarks of people being in a complete and total denial about reality. They don’t see things objectively.

Ah, so today’s Cumberbatch article is called “Benedict Cumberbatch did his TIFF premiere without his loyal&faithful wife”.
That is some very low class trolling from Kaiser, and not at all feminist minded.
Clearly she hasn’t “forgiven” Cumberbatch’s wife for stealing yet another internet boyfriend from her.
Somebody comes across as very vindictive and completely lacking self-awareness.

Today’s Munroe Bergdorf post is such a mess. I’ll try to step lightly here because I didn’t grow up in the US, and I didn’t grow up with the American race struggles. I had my own experiences as a mixed ethnicity person and I think that helps me to see both sides of the argument.
I only want to say that outside of the US there is no such term as “reverse racism”. At least I never heard it. There is only “racism”. No person is exempt from being seen as a racist if their actions are racist. And ”racism” means personal racism, institutional racism is called “institutional racism” and not simply “racism”.
Btw, I just read on the Guardian what happened to Michael Bennet and it is absolutely crazy. American police is out of control. Guns and racism are an awful combination. I am not black and American police terrifies me. I can’t imagine being black and having to face them, without knowing what to expect.

I am happy to see that common sense prevails in the comments under the Amal’s post. Here is what Kaiser said about Amal. It is her usual passive-aggressive style. And she thinks Taylor is a mean girl?
“I like that she’s not a “kept woman,” even though I’ve believed for a long time that George is financing her shopping habit. That being said, it wouldn’t surprise me if she did find a way to quietly quit her job, right?
“
And kudos to Nicole for calling her out on that and sticking to her guns.
Nicole says:
You’re incredible rude about Amal and it’s confusing. People were right to tell you you didn’t know she could work from home, but you continue to be dismissive and imply that she doesn’t work that much. Plus, finance her shopping trips? They’re married, she likes to buy clothes, he’s not financing anything, it’s a shared pot of money. I don’t know…your attitude towards Amal seems odd.

On today’s Hillary article there was this comment regarding Hillary vs. Bernie, under which I cosign 100%.
Patricia says:
Listen, I’m not a bro and I’m not anywhere near a Trump voter. I grew up pretty poor, tied on the college debt that is the hallmark of my generation, and couldn’t even get a job in the field. My husband and children are Hispanic so I don’t fit the “oh so white” Bernie supporter mold.
Bernie talked about universal healthcare, for real. He talked about affordable college. He talked about taxing the 1% for real. He talked like a socialist becuase he is one, and so am I. Bernie didn’t pull the wool over anybody’s eyes on this. Yes I want change, and the Democratic Party isn’t offering it in any real form. I want a nation of free people who live within a society that functions for the good of all. I want hard work to pay off. I want my fellow Americans treated like human beings. Hillary didn’t speak to me at all. Sorry Hillary, this isn’t Bernie’s fault.
And what did the poster get in return? Insults and ridicule. Here is an example.
Scout says:
So does that mean you voted for Jill Stein whose platform was almost identical to Bernie’s? If so…LMAO.
The majority of the CB posters must be very privileged if they don’t see how hard the life is for the majority of the young Americans, and for working and lower middle class. The poster here is telling them that Hillary had no solutions, and yet her CB supporters just go la-la-la. That is because they have no personal experience with what OP is talking about, imo.

Anonymous asked: i tried to comment 5 times on today's Taylor Swift posts, "Good on Taylor for donating" and my post was deleted on the spot. Are they not allowing people to say nice things about her? Or is CB just a place for the same five people to bitch about how much they hate her, yet follow every single thing she does?
Lol, yes, it does seem like it is a therapy place for people who don’t like Swift, Kate Middleton and a few other celebrities. They blow off their steam there and (hopefully?) feel better afterwards.
As for Taylor, I give her credit for how well she handled that DJ trial. She did us all a great service.
