After the “lean times” mention I decided to check CB’s traffic stats. There is a nosedive about 3 months ago. I wonder what happened.
Though, honestly I don’t know how accurate this info is. Last year it was showing a dramatic increase in traffic but I didn’t really see it, based on comments.

Yesterday I was looking at some recent royal bridal gowns. And I remembered how about a year or so ago Kaiser kept going about princess Sofia of Sweden, and how Sofia was so much better when compared to Kate. And then Meghan came around, and Sofia is completely forgotten. It just goes to show that Meghan or whoever else Kaiser gashes about, is just a tool for her to spread hatred of the “other princess”. Her adoration is not genuine. You can see the same pattern with other celebrities as well.

Barely 20 comments on the very important topic of Michele Obama addressing the Lean In nonsense. I always thought the Lean In advice was damaging. It is exactly the wrong thing to do if you are working for a company which is an old boys club, which happens to be the most companies out there.
Yet we have 200+ comments on some royal conspiracy nonsense post, which I am yet to read.
Celebitchy and Kaiser must realize by now how pathetic the site has become.

Not sure if this groping story is something that happened in Bush’s late years but have learned in working in nursing homes that dementia does not have a filter but emotions are intact..sometimes a person with dementia is reaching out for a loved one (lost one)…or is regressing..a lot. anyway, I did not read the whole story on CB as I tend not to read it anymore but just something I learned about dimentia recently.
Thank you for the information, this is really good to know. I appreciate the insight.

Chaine says:
The real moral of this story is that any celebrity in the future that hires Melissa Toubatti is now fully warned: she can’t handle a high pressure job, and she will quit and then sell all sorts of dirt about you to the tabloids.
The real story is that Meghan’s fans will excuse workplace abuse in order to protect Meghan. Gee, do they even read what they are writing?
It is said that people don’t quit companies, they quit bad managers. It is possible that Meghan is just a bad manager and needs to learn.

Wow, what a great comment. Well said.
Killjoy says:
If the British taxpayers really cared about wasted money on this nonsense, they’d dissolve the monarchy. Instead, they (and the commenters on this site) act like they get their value when Kate does x more appearances a month, or when she finally cuts an inch or two off her hair.
Like the millions spent on this would be worth it if she just acted in accordance to Joe Schmoe’s idea of how many appearances she should do, and how broadly she needs to smile, blah blah blah. I think people – especially us gossip lovers – are just looking for excuses to tear someone down and feel superior (“if I were a royal, I’d surely x, y, z! The nerve!”).
It’s like we feel like we’ve gotten a free pass to police these women in ways we don’t typically do to other women in 2018, and justify it based on “this is what they signed up for.” It doesn’t make what we’re doing right. If the monarchy shouldn’t exist, it shouldn’t exist. But let’s not act like a leg slit is going to be the downfall of the free world.

I’d like to thank Melania Trump for demonstrating so well why the un-elected, archaic office of the US first lady shouldn’t exist. The fact that the other first ladies wielded the power and influence behind the closed doors and more diplomatically doesn’t make it any better. None of them were elected and shouldn’t have been involved in the politics at all.
As for calling Melania silly names like Malaria, it is just silly. Here we have a woman who never wanted to be the first lady, the position was foisted on her. And then people are unhappy with her? What they should be unhappy about is that in this day and age so many Americans still consider the wife just a free addition to her husband. Who should stand by his side, look nice and smile prettily.

Gigi La Moore says:
I have had to rethink my opinion about W., especially since Trump. No, I don’t agree with him about everything and he authorized some things that were damaging and we are feeling the effects to this day. However, I have never questioned the man’s humanity, so I can see why Michelle likes him. It is crazy that Kanye could be so bold to call W. out yet be onboard with Trump. Sigh…what crazy times
——————————————————————————-
OK, what is WRONG with some people? No, W. Bush is not better than Trump. W. Bush is directly responsible for millions of innocent civilians deaths. Trump, as awful as he is, cannot be accused of being responsible for millions of innocent people’s deaths yet. So, even if you are using Trump is a measuring stick, W. Bush is a monster many times over. If he wasn’t a monster, he wouldn’t be able to live with himself after what he’s done and would be doing everything he can to help civilians suffering from wars, like the one in Yemen, for example.

Ocasio-Cortez post is such a trainwreck, You would think CB posters be supportive of a progressive WOC making name for herself and bringing up important issues, which matter to regular people. But, nope. Apparently her “Bernie stench” ruins it for them. Un-freaking-believable.

“A says:
I really hate to be the ahole here, because I know that a great deal of you in Texas and in other parts worked very hard on these elections and with getting the vote out and educating people on issues. And far be it from me to bring race into this conversation so quickly, but exit polls indicate that roughly 60% of white women in Texas who voted, voted for Ted Cruz. The numbers are even worse for the governor’s election in Georgia, where 76% of the white women who voted voted for Kemp over Stacey Abrams.”
I really don’t understand how something like this is helpful, and this is peak Celebitchy right here. What is point of this comment? I am a white woman in Texas who voted for Beto, I knew it was a long shot, this is Texas after all. But I did my part in bringing the vote to only 3% difference between Beto and Cruz. And, of course, I was disappointed that it wasn’t enough.
So, now let’s beat women like me, who are already facing the uphill battle in Texas, over the head with the fact that Texas is a deep red state where a lot of people vote Republican. Because that is going to make me feel so much better!
And this is not even about race. Beto is a white American, while Cruz is hispanic. Cruz is actually a minority here. This is about class - rich vs. poor. Wealthy people vote Republican, evangelicals vote Republican, and yes, most of those people are white.
Sometimes progressives in the US don’t see the forest for the trees. Some of them are conditioned to see everything in terms of racial or sexual discrimination and they are completely oblivious to the main societal struggle - the wealth inequality struggle. And this CB comment is a prime example of that.
Additionally, according to the stats 71% of white men voted for Cruz, and 59% of white women, So, actually more men voted for Cruz , but in the usual Celebitchy fashion, it is only women who get grief.
