I just read all the comments saying “Charlise did something to her face”. Can the so-called feminists decide whether it is up to the woman to make choices, including plastic surgery? It is like they are bi-polar. On one post they will claim that it is completely fine because “choices” and women are free to make them, on the others they suddenly become judgmental.
As for Charlise, I think the explanation is much simpler. She recently gained a lot of weight for a role, and then quickly lost it. Only she forgot she is not 20 anymore, and her skin wasn’t going to adjust.
I think extreme weight gain and loss for a role, that seems to be a sign of dedication to the “craft” these days, should be actively discouraged. It has very real health consequences. And acting is just not a kind of a profession that justifies jeopardizing health for it.
