Anonymous asked: Kaiser wrote a post today about Bush 41 and had the bad taste to include a statement about his groping. Bush had Parkinson's and was quite elderly. We don't know if there was also a dementia diagnosis. I suspect there was as this kind of behavior is common in the elderly. But, anyone with a modicum of humanity would not have included this issue in a post.

Or, she could’ve skipped  the whole topic all together.

The groping scandal , I think, can be explained by dementia, in part. But I think the more likely thing is that it was “normal” to treat women like this in the days of Bush, and he simply revered back to this type of behavior, once some of the natural breaks were removed due to his illness. The issue here is not with Bush himself, but with abuse of women which was clearly rampant 50-60 years ago and how Bush is just one example of it.

I’ll be honest, I can’t stand Bushes because I cannot stand their type of hypocrisy and privilege, and I cannot put aside the negative impact they had on the course of the US history. So, I probably would’ve ignored the whole topic to be true to myself. There is nothing good I can say about any of Bushes, no matter how nice they are as people.

The old school politeness teaches - about the dead good or nothing. And sure, we can do that for a few days during mourning. But I am not OK with whitewashing of crimes by politicians, just because they are dead. You can see these attempts at whitewashing with John McCain, for example.

Anonymous asked: It's funny how they all choose to believe tabloid stories and "reputable" sources when the topic is Kate&Will. Without questioning the source, they will believe everything about W&K, and spin their own narratives, which are all SO TRUE in their minds... Meghan&Harry are treated with kid gloves on CB. Not even a mild critique is allowed! Every article & source is fake-news, bs, and lies when it comes to H&M, but they will use the SAME source, or tabloid to speculate and gossip about W&K lives.

Anonymous asked: 1/1 Re. Meghan's assistant Melissa Toubati. We don't know whether the story is 100% true or not, but I would like to have my say, however, Kasier won't let my comments go through because they go against their narrative. Going on an insane moderating/deleting comments spree is hilarious and sad at the same time.

Anonymous asked: 2/2 Everyone keeps mentioning her surname, not realising she is a fellow woman of colour. Nice try for them to be calling her White. Typical ignorance/xenophobia of CBitches. Toubati is a French woman of North African Ethnicity. Now, if Meghan was really rude to her, and broke her down, why is it bad for Toubati to tell her side of the story?

Anonymous asked: 3/3 Her boss, a high profile member of the BRF, is a jerk and treats the “help” like crap. Allegedly. I thought with the metoo movement, people would like these stories to be out. No one deserves bad treatment, especially when they’re working for Royalty. Most posters are Hypocrites because I know what the comments would look like if this was someone else, or a man!

If the British taxpayers really cared about wasted money on this nonsense, they’d dissolve the monarchy. Instead, they (and the commenters on this site) act like they get their value when Kate does x more appearances a month, or when she finally cuts an inch or two off her hair.

Like the millions spent on this would be worth it if she just acted in accordance to Joe Schmoe’s idea of how many appearances she should do, and how broadly she needs to smile, blah blah blah. I think people – especially us gossip lovers – are just looking for excuses to tear someone down and feel superior (“if I were a royal, I’d surely x, y, z! The nerve!”).

It’s like we feel like we’ve gotten a free pass to police these women in ways we don’t typically do to other women in 2018, and justify it based on “this is what they signed up for.” It doesn’t make what we’re doing right. If the monarchy shouldn’t exist, it shouldn’t exist. But let’s not act like a leg slit is going to be the downfall of the free world.

Anonymous asked: I posted a link of this tumblr and got super banned. Before, I was getting moderated and my comments were disappearing. Now I can't post anything at all. I knew this would happen and I don't care lol.

Thanks!

Anonymous asked: There are no comments on non-royal posts. I can't believe it used to be a good site, now it's just boring Meghan stans whipping themselves into a frenzy about whatever. It used to be that the Jolie threads were insane so I used to avoid it but now I think I will avoid the whole site.

Anonymous asked: In response to the post about Melania. Doesn't everyone have a past? Melania was 25 when these "art" photos were published in a French magazine. At 25 I admit to doing some things, I wouldn't have done at 30. She may not be Eleanor Roosevelt, but she is a devoted mother. If one reads biographies, it's clear that many people have done things when young that are not admirable. Methinks life is a learning experience.

I am with you there. People are mad at Trump and they take it out on Melania. I am not really all that excited about further promotion of the stereotype of Eastern European women as shady escorts and more. And Melania shouldn’t even have been in the firing range, so to speak. She is not a public figure. It was forced on her, She didn’t run for a president. Politicians families should be out of limits.

And that cuts both ways, by the way. I also  despise politicians who drag their wives and children out to protect them, when they are accused of sexual misconduct.

Politicians families shouldn’t be pawns or lightning rods in the political games.  Being a politician is a job, and the family should be left out of it.
