I loved this comment on a Swift post yesterday. Well said, Erica.

Until Kanye apologies for using her naked likeness without her consent Taylor doesn’t have to apologize FOR ANYTHING!!!

Why does everyone forget he did that to her? Why does everyone insist Taylor take the highroad? She does not have to be the bigger person just because she’s a woman!! Kanye is a misogynistic douchebag and Taylor doesn’t owe him a single thing.

Anonymous asked: I'm laughing right now. Shitser is indeed incredibly thin skinned when it comes to Angelina Jolie, tried to post a reply saying Angelina's last movies bombed hard @ the box office & how she's always been both incredibly overrated lookswise & in terms of "talent". Was immediately put on moderation. Is there a Jolie filter over there or something? How is Kate Middleton considered thin to the point of being accused of an eating disorder when her mediocre idol Jolie weighs less than my teen niece?

I personally think Angelina’s face is incredibly beautiful . For me, her face and Liv Tylers’s  seem so beautiful that it is almost impossible to believe such faces exist. But I also understand that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And what is inside also affects the perception of outside beauty.

I also always remind myself that I shouldn’t  treat a beautiful person better than others, I still should judge them on their character and actions. And I do question some of Angelina’s actions.

As for CB, imo, if you allow posters to say certain things about one woman, then you should allow the same for the other. You cannot have different standards for your favorites vs. others, that is just means you have no integrity. CB either shouldn’t censor anything, or should censor using the same criteria. If you are not allowing to shame one woman for being  underweight or under-dressed, or whatever else, you shouldn’t allow shaming of another.

And a self-proclaimed feminist site  definitely shouldn’t allow shaming of women based on their looks, or allow harsh judging of women while giving a pass to men for same or worse actions.

Anonymous asked: I had asked you yesterday about the being banned thing bc of some semi-TS posts and you said she did ban me. That is seriously insane! I'm not even a TS fan, I just disagree with the double standard for women. I'm exactly the demo they want: millennial, educated, well-employed and buy a lot online. So crazy to me, and a terrible business model for CB. Most sites are so happy if they create organic, educated discussions bc it means lots of clicks! What blog did you switch to instead of CB?

Which blog did I swtich to? The Guardian. Not joking here. There is nothing in the world of the celebirty gossip right now that is decent enough for me. The Guardian allows comments and has fair censorship. If I want to discuss Trump and politics that is the right place to do it, not CB. They also have a decent arts section.

Anonymous asked: There are Swift fans on CB, I've seen their posts over the last few days. I don't think the issue is whether the site is pro or anti a certain celeb but when you criticise the site, even a question or feedback is deleted.

You’ll see , those Swift fans will disappear pretty quickly. I’ve seen it over and over. Yes, there will be people for a while, who openly disagree, but eventually they disappear because in general disagreement just doesn’t jive with CB.  CB is an echo chamber.

And, yes, it goes beyond saying that criticism of the site or Kaiser will result in an immediate ban even for long term posters. I remember last year one of Kaiser’s favorites, lilacflower/ lighpurple, got banned when she disagreed with Kaiser over Kanye.

Anonymous asked: Could I have been banned for simply pointing out that the site is pro-Kanye in the Taylor Swift feud? The post itself admitted it. My comments were there yesterday and are not there anymore, all of the replies to me are scattered.

Absolutely. You are not allowed to support Swift on CB , period.

gingercat-22 asked: For a group of people on CB, who claim to be "feminist" and "woke", they are anything but. Kanye humiliated a young girl on world stage and disgustingly put her naked likeness on a bed along side him and his whorish wife. Even if T did know about the lyrics, the video itself was misogynistic. For the race obsessed, they make it into black vs white tripe. I wish Taylor destroys Kumye. The hypocrisy of Kaiser and her minions no longer shock me.

Exactly. It doesn’t matter what Taylor is like. What Kanye did was wrong. It is not about Kanye and Kim vs. Taylor, it is about right and wrong. Kaiser and many CB posters have very flexible ethics when it comes to their favorites, while those they don’t like are never given the benefit of a doubt.

Anonymous asked: I think I got the punt from Celebitchy today. Kaiser's nastiness really got to me. She was on about Will and Kate's choice of prep school for George. Yesterday my comments regarding Angelina Jolie never showed up. I dont attack anyone but I do put out my opinion. It's never mean or nasty.

A few thoughts on the some of the last days of posts

* People going to town on Susan Sarandon. Really? Susan Sarandon has been a lefty for longer than many of us were alive and now you are judging her? If your party doesn’t have a place for a brave and principled person that is Susan Sarandon then I am not interested in being in your party.

* It is funny to read the praise for Taylor Swifts given so grudgingly. Admit it, Taylor Swift has guts and has strength that is to be admired and she did all feminists a huge service by standing up for herself and not folding. Yes, she is privileged but she is still a human being with feelings. She definitely did more for feminism than Kanye will ever do. And I still remember some of the posters defending Kanye over his video with naked wax replicas of Swift and others.

* No fan of Ivanka or nepotism, but I wouldn’t be so readily jumping on board with criticism of her by Indian officials, many of whom think that a woman is a lesser human being. I felt a whiff of that in their condescension towards Ivanka.

Anonymous asked: Came across your blog today. I found out about CB about 5 years ago and I for some reason I thought Kaiser is Asian/Hindu/American and that she went to Law School or I could be confusing her with one of the other writers. I was not aware that people had been banned but I did notice that the there is a "in line" type of comment. What made me not want to look at that site was a video I found on youtube about a commentator of CB talking about how she had been bullied in an AJ thread on CB. Sad.

I think Kaiser mentioned that she is half-Indian, I have my doubts. She knows little about India and Indians and the knowledge is superficial She comes across as an American white. It is possible that she is half-Indian but was raised by the white side of the family and has no connection to the Indian side. Still, she doesn’t seem to have any desire to learn more about India. And that makes me think she is a white person posing as someone else. It is internet, there is no way to tell.

Bullying and piling on are pretty typical of the CB, if you hold an opinion not shared by the majority of posters.

But yes, I think you are thinking about the right person.

Anonymous asked: Kaiser has a knack for making everything about race

Yep. Kaiser’s race baiting is pretty transparent. And the thing is, half of the time she doesn’t even understand the issue she is talking about, and she gets flak from her posters. Still, it is too good of an opportunity for her to get more clicks to pass it up.
