‘Methinks you are engaging in hyperpole…20 hour workdays? Really? Perhaps you would prefer the 35 hour French workweek…and their 70% tax rate. I have been an exempt worker thru-out most of my work life. In white collar, non exempt professional jobs, one gets comp time for overtime worked. You know, with the US economy doing so well, there are lots of other opportunities around. Look for something else.‘
Well, I am just one anonymous blogger talking to another. You don’t have to believe me, or agree with me. However, 20 hours a day is what investment bankers work, routinely. Of course, they are paid 300K a year for it and up, so nobody is shedding tears for them. They don’t have to do it.
I worked in management consulting, also with very good pay, 16 hour days were a norm. Again, sure you are “free” to quit, or to take a lower paying job with more reasonable hours, which I eventually did.
Also, if you are pregnant and don’t like the lack of maternity leave in the US, you are “free” to quit and starve, I guess.
As for hyperbole, 70% is the top tax rate in France, in the US it is 40%, plus all kinds of other taxes on top like property, sales, state etc, which also come up to a pretty high number if you are a high earner. For all the talk of Europeans paying too much in taxes, at least they get something in return. We pay high taxes too but have nothing to show for it.

Anonymous asked: it is actually cringe-worthy and shows how crazy/delusional these posters must be if they really think we Brits are so influenced by the tabloids and see the Cambridge's as the big bad meanies trying to put Meghan and Harry in their place. Laughable and oh so childish. They Really think the public has turned on the Cambridge's! They need to go outside and breathe some fresh air. Their delusional narratives are really based on nothing except envy? Idk.

Here is something I was thinking about last few days. I was surprised by the Sussexes move to Forgmore announcement a week ago. No matter how they spin it, from what we’ve seen so far, there is no way Meghan is happy about the move to the country. She wants to be in the city where she can participate in the things, not drive 1 hour each way for every single meeting. To me this looks like Sussexes are being evicted into the country against their will.
And in response we have a rebellion by Meghan where she arranges her own events like the ones with Michele Obama and then the British Fashion Awards yesterday. I don’t think this is going to end well for Meghan. She is burning too many bridges,

Anonymous asked: Things must be really lean if they are running multiple amazon affiliate ads every week. Their desperation is showing.

Anonymous asked: I had to do an outright facepalm at the part near the end of the Jana Kramer article that read “how did it become a thing for women to be criticized for looking too good after having a baby?”(!!) I cant decide if Celebitchy is blissfully or willfully ignorant, because she can look to her own damn site - literally every. Single. Article. Even remotely related to pregnancy or childbirth has to slam Kate and the Cambridge baby hospital photo ops. Stunned silent, I can’t with these people anymore. .

Anonymous asked: I think those leaner times are caused by two main things: 1. Banning lots of loyal readers who made several clicks a day an now don't come back. 2. Kaiser becoming increasingly hateful to white women. It went from calling out white privilege (which is fine), to Kaiser showing her anger towards white women in random, unrelated news stories. Seeing how a big part of her readership was probably white women, the leaner times are not a surprise.
It is definitely the banning of the posters and the censoring. I don’t know about open hatred of white women, I don’t see that specifically. I see irrational hatred of some white women, and it is very personal hatred. Kaiser feels safe doing that. If she did that to a WOC she’d be called out by her readership. That is true.

Anonymous asked: Holy cupping condundrum! Everyone getting so angry at people saying it was a bit much for Meghan to cup her belly for four minutes straight on stage. It’s a gossip site, don’t act all holier than thou when someone has an opinion. People are so defensive of Meghan it’s kind of scary. If this were any other celebrity or public person they would be all over her!
I personally don’t mind belly cupping. If that makes the woman more calm/ comfortable, I have no issue with it. I am in live and let live camp. Having said that, I first read all the comments and THEN looked at the picture. And, oh my, I almost fell out of the chair. That is not belly cupping. I don’t know what it was, but there is no way that was a natural pose. That was a performance. In my opinion, of course.
I really don’t know what Meghan is up to. But she is playing a dangerous game. There is no way the BRF is OK with all the unplanned hobnobbing with celebrities. She is not a celebrity, she is supposed to serve. She doesn’t seem to get it.

After the “lean times” mention I decided to check CB’s traffic stats. There is a nosedive about 3 months ago. I wonder what happened.
Though, honestly I don’t know how accurate this info is. Last year it was showing a dramatic increase in traffic but I didn’t really see it, based on comments.

Anonymous asked: I wish that every Celebitchy poster who claims to be a "Feminist" yet makes comments freely about skinny women's bodies watched Sarah Hyland's Self interview. I haven't checked CB but if they did talk about it or if they do, how much do you want to bet they'll all circlejerk about how strong she is and how you neevr know what people are going through etc and yet they'll be the same people calling people "scary skinny" and body shaming Kate Middleton & Meghan Merkle.

“Ahoyoy says:
Literally this. On what planet does staff think they have the right to do anything but say ‘yes, ma’am right away’. I have 2 secretaries, 3 younger associates and 5 interns on my team. Woe betide any one of them who would dare to pull any of the crap that the palace staff has done in the last month. Don’t like your boss? Quit. Spread gossip? You’re fired.
Meghan is in charge of her staff, she sets the culture. If she chooses to set an American work culture, that’s up to her. If her staff doesn’t like it, they can leave. Americans don’t tolerate disloyal staff. Breach trust and you’re out the door, whether the breach was accidental or intentional. We don’t mess around. These people are going to learn a nasty lesson.”
Wow, what a boss from hell! You would think somebody posting on a presumably progressive website would know that workers are not slaves, and that they have feelings. Somebody who treats workers like this will soon be left with no workers.
