I am convinced Kardashians are one of the CB sponsors. Otherwise, there is absolutely no explanation for endless articles about them, and endless excuses made for them by Kaiser.
I guess I am the only one who loved Amal’s Italian outfit.))) Oh, well.
As for why Clooney still rides the motorbike. Have anybody tried getting around a major Italian city by car? It takes 3 times longer than on a motorbike. I would not ride a motorbike, because I am too scared, by I understand why people do it. I take public transportation instead. It is still faster than by car.
Absolutely. Obama cannot just ride into the sunset. Either her cares about the country or he doesn’t. And if he does care, then he has to be the leader of the Democratic party that he is expected to be.
Two of my posts didn’t make it through moderation this morning so I guess I’m out. Posted there for years but it’s changed. Don’t enjoy the site anymore and there are tons of new posters which makes me think that others have met the same fate.
I started searching “moderation on celebitchy” when several of my posts were not allowed through moderation. I noticed that after several years I’m still not out of moderation even though I’m never offensive or abusive or argue with anyone. Too bad this has happened to celebitchy. It was my absolute favorite site for the longest time. Nnw there are maybe 2 posts every day that I pay attention to. I didn’t catch on to the over moderating until my posts started disappearing. I’m not on there enough and I wasn’t on enough threads to be able to discern that, but when I read about several other people’s problems with the website I now understand where they are coming from.
Co-sign.
Shambles, lots of hugs to you. And I am glad your are out that swamp. It is a very negative place. And even while it poses as being woke, it actually doesn’t make anybody better, it makes people more negative and unhappy.
You know what, CB is strangely addictive. I agree with you. And I have no idea why. But I felt it too. Even disliking it is addictive. )) I said it before, it feels like a cult.
This blog helped me get over the pull. I think talking about it helps a lot.
She does. It is so petty. And, yes, I said that too - if you are really a feminist and think that women have a right to make choices, why make all this innuendo about plastic surgery?
I just read all the comments saying “Charlise did something to her face”. Can the so-called feminists decide whether it is up to the woman to make choices, including plastic surgery? It is like they are bi-polar. On one post they will claim that it is completely fine because “choices” and women are free to make them, on the others they suddenly become judgmental.
As for Charlise, I think the explanation is much simpler. She recently gained a lot of weight for a role, and then quickly lost it. Only she forgot she is not 20 anymore, and her skin wasn’t going to adjust.
I think extreme weight gain and loss for a role, that seems to be a sign of dedication to the “craft” these days, should be actively discouraged. It has very real health consequences. And acting is just not a kind of a profession that justifies jeopardizing health for it.
I agree. Notasugar/Nic919 do sound very similar.
Haven’t read it yet. Though, Kitten, yeah, I don’t like to talk about individual posters, but she is one of those who gets on my nerves big time. ))) So, self-righteous.
Yes, that sounds like a ban. First they put you in moderation, and then banned you for the second “offense”. Welcome tot he club! )))
I know this used to drive me crazy. You would post something mildly out of the party line, and then 50 people misinterpret what you say, and jump on you. And you can’t even respond because Kaiser would mod you every time!
Well, now I have this blog and I can say whatever I want. If not for Kaiser’s unfair moderation I would’ve never bothered with a blog.
It is her unresolved Cumbercrush, lol. She used to be crazy about him. And now it is all about how he doesn’t look so hot. As if it has anything to do with him being a good actor or not.
It is not like people can control what they look like. And CB posters seem to understand this, when it comes to women. But ,somehow, it is OK to judge men for their looks - William for his baldness and Cumby for the fact that he is not classically handsome.
I know that several people wrote to Celebitchy about being banned and never got a response. I don’t know of anyone who did.
I giggle when I think of Kaiser googling herself ( I am convinced she does, given her need to be in control of everything ) and finding all those sites dedicated to her BS ))) and nothing with anything positive to say about her.
Lol, at all the Americans getting hot and bothered about people not wanting to visit in the US.
US is not that great. You cannot get anywhere without a car. it is concrete, concrete and more concrete. There is nothing left of the original Native American cultures. So, basically the only things to see in the US is its nature, which is nice, but so is nature everywhere else, and what greedy capitalists/ colonialists made out of the land, and it is not that pretty.
Then you have to deal with extremely hostile and uncourteous immigration officials and long travel distances.
I’ve lived in the US for more than 20 years, and my family only came twice. There are so many more things in the world to see.
At this point, the posters asking where LAK is are trolling, right? Either she was banned, or she’s sick of what Celebitchy has devolved to - dancing to egomaniac Kaiser’s tune.
———————————————————————-
LAK was probably banned. She probably posted something against the party line. But my guess is that some of the posters on CB, who always agree with Kaiser, genuinely don’t know what goes on behind the scenes. It is sort of like being in a cult.
Well I did finally get banned on there today! When someone said a tall woman like Taylor Swift shouldn’t wear high heels and another commenter questioned them- I said no it’s only the tall women the ladies on this site hate who cannot wear high heels. The comment was modded and I am now not able to comment any longer. Such a dumb thing to get banned over, but pretty funny nonetheless. Too bad, I wanted to address their lack of addressing classism in the Janelle Monoe post. I think the so called woke women on there think all poor white people in the US are dumb rednecks voted for Trump.
———————————————————————————————
I am picking up on that too. The posters on CB are trying to act woke but many of them are privileged and snobbish. They have no idea how poor or less privileged people live.
Absolutely. I agree. From what CB posters tell about themselves, many of them sound very privileged, to be honest. That is probably why they have time to hang around there the whole day. )))
And they assuage their guilt about their privilege by being “woke”. Good thing too (sarcasm) that it doesn’t require actually doing anything other than posting woke messages on CB and judging others.
I think shambles is black, and so she sees things from her perspective. I guess to her all white people are a monolith. I disagree, of course, being originally from mostly white 3rd world country. I’ve seen plenty of poverty and deprivation. But it is not use arguing about it with Americans. They can’t imagine things being different.
When I moved to the US, I did feel the “white privilege” , it is real. But to take advantage of it you have to have the right pedigree, i.e. not only be white passing but also be passing for a middle class American, or a foreigner.
Here is a depressing thought - Kylie Jenner is a billionaire, and she is what 19 or 20? How does one become a billionaire selling lipstick? It is unbelievable. And it actually makes me want to cry.
Here we study hard, work hard for decades, and in the end all we can hope for is a few years of retirement. And Kylie Jenner, who represents everything that is wrong with America, is a billionaire in 2 years.
I have no idea what this is about. From my side I can offer two criticism that Meghan opened herself to - expensive clothes ( she seems to be correcting that now), and even a bigger crime - no British designers! If they were expensive timeless clothes by British designers, then there could be a way to sell it as Meghan promoting British businesses, which is, after all, is in her job description.
But it seems she went from Givenchy to Ralph Lauren, and that is a flagship American brand. He dresses the US Olympics team. You can’t get more American than Ralph Lauren. A bad move on Meghan’s part.
I don’t think the CB owner cares. If she did, she would’ve hired somebody else a long time ago. Kaiser, obviously, doesn’t have the first clue what journalism is about.
People did write to the CB owner, she never responds.
I think CB is a PR outlet for certain celebrities, and my guess is that is how it makes the money.
Meghan would hate to be loved by the ladies of CB I feel. 1. They treat her as a object or just a barbie.
2. They try to compare her to another woman to up her and create imaginary beefs.Meghan seems like a really nice woman, smart, she’d quickly see that for what it is, sexism and fakenessm
3. They hate. I don’t think Meg would want toxic ppl such as Nic919 & Notasugarhere etc. To be her biggest fan. Especially if it’s at the expense of hate for another human being they don’t even know.
Kaiser also needs to realize that no one reads her articles they go right to the comments to fight and bicker. Also it seems like most of the commenters don’t like Kaiser, they just come to chat with each other
They rarely care about Kaiser’s opinion on anything.
———————————————————————————————
Kaiser has no opinion on anything or anybody ( other than Kate and her internet boyfriends’s girlfriends, lol ). She waits for “woke” people to tell her what she is supposed to think. Her drift changes in accordance with opinions of the posters.
There was so much of it, I will give some highlights that I remember.
Bendy was one of Kaiser’s internet boyfriends, and she did no take it kindly when he decided to get engaged to his “secret girlfriend”.
Kaiser’s line was that he only was marrying her because she got “knocked up” after a couple months of dating. The implication was, of course, that he did not love her and she pretty much trapped him with the pregnancy. Which was very disrespectful towards the woman, if you ask me, especially coming from a self-proclaimed feminist.
Then she also claimed that all the pap photos of them where staged and were for publicity for his Oscar’s campaign. That, of course, played into theories of some of the crazy fans that the engagement was only for Oscars, and that he wasn’t going to marry his-now-wife, and the baby was a pillow.
Then some of Hiddleston’s fans, I think it was lilacflowers, who can’t stand Cumberbatch, came up with a nickname “Comet Sophie” for his wife. And that was like a red target for a bull, for his crazy fans, because it reinforced their belief that the whole engagement roll out was too fast and was a sham. Kaiser encouraged all of this, and used “Comet Sophie” nickname in her posts.
I am still here ))).
One thing I am noticing more an more lately is that they treat Meghan not as a person but as a dress up doll. What is the point of endless comments saying that the dress is OK, but would’ve been even better with blue, or coral, or black or whatever accessories? She is not a fashion model. Her job is to be dressed appropriately, look nice, smile, and wave. Whether her accessories are up to snuff is irrelevant.
For my part I was happy the latest dress did not cost a gazillion dollars, that is all I care about.
This language policing thing is the worst with the “woke”people. They should judge people by their actions, not words. Of course, they cannot do that, because when it comes to actions, the people who act as the most “woke” usually have little to show to support their words. People, who actually do something, are too busy for petty words policing.
Lol
Someone mentioned how Angelina’s film cruelly auditioned children. A poster named “Hmmm” responded with: “You damn liar.”
It’s still there, of course, even though it breaks several of their own posting guidelines.
