Another woman Celebitchers hate for no apparent reason is Amal Clooney.
They went on and on about trying to explain away the claim that Amal and Meghan could be friends. They completely discounted all of Amal’s accomplishments. Apparently, Amal’s crime is that she smiles too brightly at the camera.
They conveniently forget that Amal is a woman of color as well. And they clearly have no idea how hard it is to make a career as a lawyer in the class and pedigree obsessed London when you are a woman with the name Amal Amaluddin and not let’s say Olivia Annesley (an aristo name I just made up ).
Ha-ha-ha, I just had to laugh at this notsugar’s comment. Who does she think she is kidding? Childbearing is not a requirement for women in a hereditary monarchy? Ha-ha-ha-ha.
And people actually read the official BRF’s website? What for?
notasugarhere says:
Having children is not a royal requirement. Go look at the official website of the BRF; childbearing is no where on there. There are 5,000 people in line to the throne; W&K did not have to have kids as part of their “job”.
When it is somebody they don’t like on CB, they forget all about their “feminism” and start judging the person’s looks and clothes and what is not. And if you point it out , they say - this is why this site is called “bitchy”.
However, if it is one of their faves, then most of negative comments get deleted right away, and to the ones that get to stay ( to spice things up ) you get a dozen comments along the lines - why are you commenting on this person if you don’t like him/ her, you could just skip the post.
The disturbing thing is how they seem to be completely unaware of their own hypocrisy.
Celebitchy continues to be nasty today. Apparently, Melania Trump has not been seen in public for a while, after she was hospitalized with a kidney issue.
And these nasty women on CB are making fun of her because they think the only reason she is not seen is plastic surgery. What if she is really seriously sick? This is crosses the line of decency and leaves it far, far behind. And no amount “she chose this life” justifies it. Nothing justifies being cruel and and nasty.
Fair enough ))). I agree with your Vanity Fair point. She only got the cover because of who she is married to, not through her own work, and that is sad, for all women, that money and connections still matter more than honest work.
I see posters on CB are so concerned with feminists issues that there are only 20-30 posts on the #MeToo related topics but 200-300 each of the royal posts and there are 5-6 of them a day. // sarcasm
CB turned into a nastier version of Mirror.
Wow,I just went to the Kate’s maternity leave thread and it is NASTY.
What is this, for example ( a post by Lizbeth )
“
While I think leave is fine, I’m not buying the idea that proper bonding requires her to be home with the baby 24/7. While Kate’s “on leave” she’s not available 24/7 to the baby nor are “ordinary hands-on” moms who do things like clean the house, grocery shop, go to church, engage in their regular charitable activities, have a night out with dad, etc. all while “on leave.”
“
Let me tell you something, “Lizbeth”, a new baby wakes up every 2 hours to feed. And if you breastfeed, it does not matter how many nannies you have, you still have to wake up every 2 hours. You get no sleep for the first 3-4 months, you become a zombie.
Cleaning? What cleaning? Grocery shopping an cooking - the husband can do it. Believe it or not, even in regular households women get help, and they are still struggling.
I don’t think Meghan is a famewhore, but I am pretty sure if Harry wasn’t a rich royal she wouldn’t have given him a second look. But this goes for many women. I don’t think Meghan is worse than any other regular woman, but she is not an activist, feminist etc. that Celebitchy posters are making her out to be. If she were, she would have never married into the royal family to begin with.
Even in the backwards US, which does not have any maternity leave whatsoever, women get 6 weeks disability leave to recover from birth. And I can attest that they need every day of it since bleeding often doesn’t stop for 4-6 weeks.
Exactly. They want Kate to work while pregnant, when she just had a baby but have no problems with Meghan’s many vacations because apparently she was stressed out by wedding preparations.
Sometimes I wonder if those women have any idea what it takes to birth a child and how much energy being a parent requires, even if you have help.
The hypocrisy is unbearable. When it is a woman they like, any missteps are excused. When it is a woman they don’t like every misstep is treated like a crime against humanity.
I, personally, have an issue with how much Meghan’s dresses cost. 100K per dress is way, way too much for someone who is supposed to be all about helping people. I remember CB used to go on and on about the cost of Kate’s wardrobe. They have been silent on the subject for months. And in case of Meghan, even when the price is brought up, the posters “choose” to talk about how lovely she looks instead. They are not fooling anyone.
The same with Meghan curtsying and wearing tights. They find an excuse after an excuse, but they do not afford the same courtesy when it comes to celebrities they don’t like,
Every Celebrity on that site has diehard Stan’s or Haters.
Everyone has Strong and personal feelings toward some Celebrities and won’t hear otherwise. The royal posts are not only moderated by Kaiser but Lak,Nosugarhere and Nic919 who seem to spend all day going through every comment to correct, state “facts” or chatise you and be rude.
Meghan is good. Kate is bad.
Amal Clooney is apparently the devil.
I’ve never seen a site that takes people they don’t know so fucking serious! I feel like some of these Stan’s and haters just spend all day stalking the person they hate/love name on Google and going to spread thier narrative. I know some commenters do that with the royals.
How is Celebitchy any fun? You can’t even gossip without someone telling you you’re wrong. Its not light hearted. I don’t feel like I’m chilling with a bunch of homegirls, I feel like I’m with a bunch of woman that I used to be cool with but now, unless I agree with them, their opinions and their “facts” then we can’t be friends.
It’s High school! Wasn’t CB named the smartest site or some shit? How? Some people act like babies. Especially Kaiser who is a schoolyard bully pretending to be a hero.
I can’t believe the demonization that’s going on with Meghan Markle’s father. The man had a massive heart attack a week ago and is now recovering from having three stents inserted. Yet Celebitchy has completely demonized him. He’s ruined her wedding, is white trash, should be totally cut out of her life, and has had a heart attack because Karma, etc. It’s sick.
————————————————————————————-
The way the royal family mismanaged the relationships with Meghan’s extended family is ridiculous. I am no aristocrat ( all my knowledge of British aristocracy is comes from Jane Austin, lol ), but even I know that it does nobody any favors to have family fighting openly in the media. They should have foreseen it and placated her family. I get it that some of them are not nice people, all the same, smart people would’ve reached out to them early on and helped them financially. It is pretty clear her family is struggling, while Meghan is marrying into royalty. It just does not compute and was always going to be an issue.
All hail St Doria. Seriously, it’s a bit much. I know she’s getting slammed on other sites by racists and people calling her a gold digger, which it abhorrent. But, over 100 comments on how cool she looks, how she’s rocking that blazer, how she could totally be opening her own practice, how Meghan totally gets all her cool from her, blah, blah patronizing comment after patronizing comment.
Doria seems to be a perfectly average professional, 60 something woman. Why are we even talking about her? We can talk about what she wears to the wedding but until then let’s leave in peace.
———————————————————————————————–
Doria seems to be a nice, down to Earth woman. I did not read that article, but at that point I honestly would rather talk about Doria. Just how many articles a day one needs about Meghan? It is 5-6 articles every day.
Kaiser is not even trying anymore, she just reposts all the gossip about Meghan and she is done for the day.
I want to post this comment from the thread on John McCain, because this is a very insightful comment, which deserves to be read and understood. This person is the only person who was able to get above the usual partisan bickering that goes on on CB and get to the hear of the matter. She is correctly pointing out what is going on with fragmentation of the US, and how indifference towards the fate of the foreigners bleeds into the domestic American politics. You can even see it on CB where anyone who does not support Hillary Clinton is treated with complete contempt:
A says:
I’ve been reading up on the history of this torture debate, and what really stood out to me was how this exposed the way America failed to consider anyone aside from themselves as human beings worthy of compassion. It exposed that utter disregard in a profoundly ugly way post 9/11 especially. There were many in the administration at the time of the invasion who didn’t think Iraqis were human beings, who basically said as much when asked about the subject.
Am I really surprised that this culture of casual cruelty has finally come to roost in their own nest? No. It’s what happens when you allow it to run rampant, unchecked and without consequence. It’s what happens when you dehumanize fellow human beings without thinking twice about it. Before long, you find yourself treating the people around you in the exact same way.
This is what this torture “debate” says about America. If Americans are so willing, eager even, to inflict prolonged pain on another person in that way, and they excuse it by saying “they’re not American” it won’t be very long before that turns into, “They’re American but not the type of American that matters.” And that should scare people.
I read that too, and LAK was the only one who kept saying - Rose doesn’t have to be a perfect victim. What I am noticing at CB even more lately is the black and white thinking. This is a very simplistic and narrow type of thinking, which you usually see in brainwashed people. If one person is good, the other must be bad. If Obama is good, then Rose must be bad. No, they can both be good people, each with their own personal failings. Nobody is perfect.
The same thing went on today on the McCain’s article - if Trump is bad, then McCain must be good. How about both of them are awful? McCain participated in an illegal Vietnam war, where innocent civilians were killed. He is no “war hero”, he is a victim , at best. And then he was instrumental in getting the US in a number of other illegal wars. He is a war criminal, who will never be prosecuted, just like George Bush and Dick Chaney. The only redeeming thing about him is that he is against torture. There was one person who got in right on the McCain’s post, I am going to post her comment next.
If you post but your comments never appear, then you were banned. As I understand the ban is IP address, name and email based. If you login from a different computer (or with VPN ) , use a different name and a different email, it is likely you will be able to post.
Also, the ban expires usually around 6 months.
However, once you’ve been banned once, the chances are very high you will be banned again. You are simply not compatible with Celebitchy group-think. So, why bother?
