I post this because I don’t believe in censoring. But I have nothing further to say on this. I am neither ignorant nor uneducated, I simply have a different frame of reference and different life experience. If you want to discuss facts, give me an example of cultural appropriation that you find so damaging, and we can talk about it. I’ll tell you what I think.
But I can tell you right away that I find impossible to understand the Celebitchy's outrage du-jour about Wes Anderson’s animation about dogs set in Japan being voiced by white actors. If we take it as one example.
I am sweetheart to you now, am I. You know that is a belittling term just like “boy”, correct?
You take an issue with me but you cannot keep your own prejudices in check.
I have no vendetta with Celebitchy. But our exchange here is quite illustrative. On Celebitchy all of my posts disagreeing with the approach to “cultural appropriation” would be moderated while yours would be allowed to stand. And this is why I created this blog.
Discussion happens when both parties can express their opinion freely. It doesn’t happen when one party is shut out and is forced to accept the other’s opinion as the ultimate truth.
You see my earlier post as a rant. But I was actually trying to explain where I am coming from. You are not interested in understanding it. And that is fine. It is your right. But don’t expect me to change my opinion just because you think I should.
I am not going to argue. It is my opinion and my experience coming from a mixed ethnicity family and a multi-cultural society.
Not everybody looks at the world the American way or any other specific way. I live in the US now and I can see how often Americans think that their way is the only way. That their way is the only way and everybody else is wrong. It isn’t so.
You think your way is right. I think my way is right, more productive and less adversarial.
That is probably why I was banned from Celebitchy. I am not going to agree with something that in my experience is a negative/ unproductive approach, just because I am told that I am supposed to think a certain way.
What some people don’t seem to understand is that calling others names is not going to convince them to change their opinion. If you are certain you are right, then SHOW how you are right. That means - SHOW through your own experience and actions. Words are empty. Actions speak louder than words. That means you cannot say one thing one day and then act differently another day, that would be hypocrisy, something that Celbitchy is full of.
Oh my. All the race baiting going on in and under the Rachel Dolezal article. “Peak white supremacy”, really?
For example this part, what is that about?
“It is a bit extreme, but it is in no way new for white people to take what they want from other cultures in the name of love and respect, while distorting or discarding the remainder of that culture for their comfort”
Is that about so-called cultural appropriation? Cultures always borrowed from one another and adapted what they borrowed to their tastes. It makes cultures richer. I’ll go even further and say that this is how the human society progresses, through synthesis. It is not a bad thing.
And are some of the regular posters seriously arguing that race is a biological trait and not a social construct?
Melania Trump is another woman “Celebitchers” love to hate. I think they are so free with derision of her because she is a wife of “the enemy”. And they feel free to engage into some “therapeutical steam release” using her as a target dummy. There is nothing about Melania herself to justify this level of derision.
Almost every comment under the article starts with “ I don’t feel sorry for her”, “she made her choice” and so on.
As someone who grew up outside of the US I also find the US office of First lady to be archaic and patriarchal. And this is not a new position for me. I always thought so. For Europeans this concept of a whole family representing their country is too similar to monarchy. In addition, the office of the First lady is not official, unelected and is unpaid. The First Lady is treated as a property of her husband. And that is just not right. I don’t see how American feminists square the concept of the First Lady with women rights. No woman should be treated as a property or pressured into doing something she doesn’t want to just because of who her husband is. Again, for Europeans this is unthinkable.
Here is one of very few balanced comments on Melania I tend agree with. Especially about the bitchiness she provokes in others.

And here is another one, which is more representative of what you see BTL at Celebitchy.

Doesn’t any capitalist society operate on this principle? Especially one such as the US, which practices unrestrained laissez-faire capitalism? So it is OK that everyone else does it, just Melania is not allowed? Celebitchy is a wrong name for his site. It should be called Hypocrisy by any other name.
It’s funny how “white cis males/women” are the enemy over at CeleBITCHY, yet Kaiser writes a thread dedicated to picking at Kate Middleton’s accent and not even being clever about it, because they ALL HAVE SUBTITLES.
So you hate this woman so much or you love hate clicks so much that you have to make two posts a day just to trash her for no reason.
I love all the skinny shaming in the comments about KM (by Lainey no less) and I kept imagining, “if someone were overweight, would they allow anyone to talk about how unhealthy they are? That’s rude and wrong right?’
So why do they do it so freely to skinny women? As a overweight women myself I would never comment on another woman’s weight, because it’s a senstive topic.
I wouldn’t comment on anyone’s weight tbh.
I swear CeleBITCHY is one of the most backwards hypothetical websites I have ever been on.Writers who call themselves Feminist, but more often then not are more racists, sexist and judgemental than the people that are the so called enemy.
As a black woman, I find CeleBITCHY as a whole to be a negative counterproductive place.
On every level.
They are casually racists, sexist, shaming and often accuse men of being gay in a discriminatory way.
Backwards.
——————————-
It is clear that Kate Middleton is a pure click-bait. Just like Tom Hiddleston. The only difference is that Tom Hiddleston is a click-bait for his fans and Kate Middleton is a click-bait for people who love to demean her and I am actually not sure what they find in it.
I am against the monarchy myself. But that is what I would talk about. Not the color of Kate’s shoes.
No, these women derive some sick pleasure in ripping someone apart. And I guess they don’t feel guilty about doing it to Kate Middleton because she is privileged. Privileged or not, it is still very wrong. She is still a human being. Not to mention that everyone in the royal family is privileged but Celebitchy only loves to hate Kate.
ha ha! i can’t believe how ultra sensitive kaiser is regarding Angelina Jolie.
twice i submitted this in response to the AJ and Tom Ford post:
can he teach her how to use HD makeup?
she needs help.
REJECTED. TWICE!
i took a screen cap of it the 2nd time because i had the sneaking suspicion she just didn’t care for the joke and everything else i posted today went through after moderation.
I see Melania Trump won her defamation case against Daily Mail. The news was in all major newspapers yesterday. But Celebitchy is mum on this.
They sure loved dragging Melania through the mud when Daily Mail printed their story about her being an escort. But now that it is retracted all you hear from Kaiser is crickets.
This is just another instance of faux-feminism.
I checked Celebitchy.com latest stats, They are doing much better last 2 months. I don’t really see the reason, but I am guessing it is all those Trump articles that attract people. Expect more of the same then. If it is working for them, they are going to continue.

A couple more thoughts.
* Celebitchy is so repetitive, they are just going through motions. You almost know what you are going to see every day - Royals, Trump, Hiddleston, some random 3rd tier celebrity clickbait. This is usually a sign of a site on life support where the writers (in this case the writer, I guess) spend no time on new research, just automatically going through motions. I haven’t looked at their traffic stats in a while. I need to do that.
* If you are supposed to be an entertainment / celebrity blog and you are short on topics to cover how about you cover Olivier Awards, for example? This is a pretty high profile event.
Here is the scoop on today’s visit to CB
· Daily clickbait articles on Tom Hiddleston are just lame. It is obvious CB is catering to Tom Huddleston’s fans who are the biggest contingent of loyal readers remaining on CB. It is not CB, it is HiddlestonDaily now. I don’t hate Hiddleston, I am neutral on him. But I don’t consider him to be a great actor. He is a good actor, one of hundreds other good actors. Brits are blessed with having so many good actors to pick from. Nevertheless, the conspiracy theories trying to explain why Hiddleston wasn’t nominated for BAFTA were fun to read.
· Janelle Monae is talking about denying sex to men until they show women respect. I don’t know even where to start on this. If someone doesn’t respect you then you shouldn’t even socialize with that person, never mind having sex. But if you think that using sex as a carrot will make anyone respect you more, the truth is very much the opposite. People should respect us for who we are, regardless of whether they get sex or not. To their credit many CB posters did see how wrong this idea is and did speak up. But some instead decided to talk about how nice Monae looks because they didn’t want to openly criticize her. If it was almost anybody else they would’ve torn her to shreds, though. This kind of hypocrisy I cannot respect. Speak your mind and don’t be so partisan.
· So many posters who are still not willing to give up the conspiracy theory that Trump is a Russian agent truly scare me. This kind of willful denial and ignorance is not rational. So many still claim that Trump is a Russian agent because he warned Russians about the strike but not the Congress. Let me put it this way - the Congress doesn’t have missiles that could kill Americans, Russians do. If Russians weren’t warned they could’ve considered the airstrike an attack on them and retaliated. And this is not something anyone wants, including Trump. I am very much in the “pox on both of their houses” camp when it comes to Trump and Clinton. But I have no desire to goad Trump into yet another war we don’t need.
· Kaiser is talking about how Justin Trideau looks so much more princely than William. Harry, of course, gets a pass. First, monarchy is archaic. Both William and Harry should stop playing princes, abdicate and go live normal lives. Neither of them deserves our adoration. As for Trideau, he is a leader of a country. And hopefully he is doing his job well. He is not in his position for his good looks. Or, at least, he shouldn’t be
Ah, the smell of the WW3 with the morning coffee. No, I don't like it.
And all the people posting about Trump being a Russian agent and the Syrian air strike being a PR move for Trump with Russians being in on it, and everything is choreographed. Stop, I beg you. Ask any Russian what they think and I am pretty sure they will tell you that this is not how Russians operate.
You will sleepwalk into the WW3 all the way believing that this is all planned by Trump and Putin. It will be too late when you finally realize it is not a game, and there is no devious plan, but two nuclear powers on a brink of a confrontation. Are you willing to take the chance?
Thank you for the kind words. I am glad to hear this.
Somehow little by little CB descended from being fun and snarky to outright negativity. Being snarky is ok, as long as it is done in a lighthearted manner and is not malicious, but the line is pretty thin and is easy to cross.
Agree with you there. CB is extremely negative now. It is really not a healthy place. But it was different 2-3 years ago when I started reading it. For one, there were 3-4 regular writers, not only Kaiser. Kaiser is the most negative one. And I almost always disagree with her, so that got me banned pretty quickly.))
I rarely bother going there, maybe once a week, just to keep this blog afloat. But when I was banned for the 2nd time I felt like I needed a place to speak up because what Kaiser does with manipulating the posts and censoring of any opposing opinions is not right.
Thank you for asking. )) I started this blog so that I could post what I think since I am not allowed to do that on Celebitchy. They banned me for disagreeing with “the party line”.
I am not someone who you can just tell to shut up and I will comply. I stand behind the things I say. If I say something it usually means I believe it. To be shut down and not allowed to speak and defend my point of view is offensive to me.
it is interesting that you think I am negative because one of my main disagreements with Celebitchy is that they are too negative. I am not negative enough for them, apparently. I don’t immediately jump on somebody for a slight misstep. I prefer to give the benefit of a doubt. I don’t willfully misinterpret other people’s world or omit fact to construct a narrative for which to criticize them.
As for why I don’t I start my own site. Well, for one thing I already have a full time job. And it pays much better than a job of a gossip writer. I am also very good at it what I do for a living and I enjoy it.
This is a familiar story. I think I read one on Amal and one on Chris Pine (even though he is not a woman) recently and I see there is another one on Mara today. I noticed Kaiser only writes those about people she doesn’t like.
Why is it even a topic of conversation? It is bewildering to me. Amal, for example, looked stunning. But people still have to find a fault with her. Her shoes were too sparkly for the dress, apparently.
Kate Middleton also can never dress right, according to CB. She looks fine to me most of the time. She looks definitely better than me every time. )) I noticed the commenters have this strange negative obsession with her nude shoes. You would think wearing nude shoes is a crime on the level of torturing pets.
The whole endless criticism of clothes is exhausting. Commenters on CB take it way too seriously. Why do they expect a celebrity have a perfectly put together outfit every time? It takes days to plan an outfit, and then it is only worn once. It is such a waste. Just judge the people for their actions, the end of.
Talking about clothes can be fun, but when it turns negative and toxic, people need to step back and really think about - why is it so important to them what shoes a celebrity wears?
Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find a non-bitchy celebrity gossip site with a good layout, as of yet. If anyone has recommendations, feel free to share.
Some people recommend D-listed, but I find their layout and comments sections to be badly organized.
A great comment by Lalu on the Chris Evans thread today. This is what I find to be toxic about so many posters on CB. Yes, you are progressive, and you are against Trump. That is fine. But why are you so negative and intolerant. The type of ideological purity required by people posting on CB is very reminiscent of communists - if you are not with us, you are against us.
This leads to infighting and destructions of your own supporters over small insignificant differences. It makes your side weaker, not stronger.

And here we have master troll Kaiser fishing for clicks by purposely misinterpreting what Kristen Stewart said and then topping it off by blaming Stewart for an affair with Sanders, while Sanders is not even mentioned.
“ Do you see why I’m irritated? “I don’t view the whole Twilight blow-up as being generally traumatic.” Yeah, that’s because you weren’t Liberty Ross. Liberty had two small kids and she had uprooted her life in London to come to LA so Sanders could fulfill his dream of being a Hollywood director. And then he cheated on Liberty with a younger actress. It was traumatic for Liberty. “
I don’t know, but it seems unfair to blame a single woman for an affair before the husband. Sanders was the one who was married, he was the one who knew the truth of his marriage. Not to mention that at my workplace the whole thing would fall under the definition of the sexual harassment. And it wouldn’t be the employee who would’be blamed for it.
Kaiser only remembers about being a feminist when it suits her.
Oh, wow. The posters on Celebitchy today seem especially toxic/ angry. This is from Susan Sarandon post. Every other comment there is like this. In the big scheme of things, Susan Sarandon is a decent human being and is harmless. So much anger towards a person for having a different political opinion is frankly scary.
Svea says:
She needs to STFU for a while.
MunichGirl says:
Why is she still talking about that? Just shut up. She’s the reason I don’t watch Feud.
Tate says:
Shut up Susan!!!! Just shut up!!!!
eggyweggs says:
She’s musty.
bap says:
Overrated celebrity.
Darla says:
Shut up Susan.
Jayna says:
Condescending, smug, and passive-aggressive remarks towards Hillary.
I want to smack her.
Does Kaiser do any research before she posts shit?
I feel like she saw some articles about Marion saw they were about something negative (injections) wrote about it, and not doing simple research and finding out where the fuck the pictures came from.
They are old pictures from a fucking movie her lips were fake.
Then she deletes a bunch of comments from a Angie thread, people notice and comment on it, and she deletes those comments as well.
————————————————–
I believe Kaiser is basically a professional troll. Even when she knows the facts, she choses to ignore them in favor of controversy, and clicks. She has been called out on this multiple times. Of course, if you ever do so, you get on her black list. to be banned at the first opportunity.
I am guessing Kaiser is not a fan of Marion, since she has an article today hinting ( hint-hint) that Marion has lip fillers. The headline is “ Did Marion Cotillard get lip injections or does she just have pregnant lips? ”.
The plastic surgery hints are usually reserved for those Kaiser doesn’t like but doesn’t have anything rational to justify it. She uses hints of plastic surgery to poison the well, so to speak.
Well, it turns out Marion’s lips were prostatic, , for a movie, which was shot a year ago, before she got pregnant.
Absolutely. Race baiting in Kaiser’s posts is very obvious. She is just trolling people for clicks.
And saying something nice about Aniston is one of the fastest ways to get banned. ))
So today we are discussing Susan Sarandon’s plastic surgery, apparently. Here is the thing I noticed about CB posters. When it is a woman they don’t like, who hasn’t done anything really bad for which they can crucify her, they start talking about the woman’s looks and all the plastic surgery she has supposedly done. All with that fake concern and fake compliments.
I thought feminists were above it ? Not to mention that at least half of the suspected plastic surgery is probably just a figment of their imagination.
From today’s article on Susan Sarandon by Kaiser:

I’ve noticed CB found a new reliable click-bait - Meghan, prince Harry’s girlfriend. Prepare to be trolled mercilessly by Kaiser )). She will write all those backhanded posts about Meghan to get people fighting over her,
I noticed that the posters who don’t like Kate seem to like Meghan and Harry. Why? Royalty is royalty. Harry doesn’t seem to be any more useful than Cambridges. But he is better looking. Is that it?
Since I am a Cumberbatch fan I read the article on Cumberbatch yesterday, the one about his new project portraying Melrose. It was full of nuggets of fun, for me at least, despite having under 20 comments. ))
Here are some thoughts.

What teacakes doesn’t realize is that while she might be happy about Cumberbatch fans and haters being banned ( yes, they were banned, they didn’t just “leave”) , this is not actually good for Celebitchy. Cumberbatch used to be a reliable click bait, just like HIddleston, with 100+ comments on any given article. Celebitchy is a business , the loss of so many easy click has to hurt.
It is not by accident Kaiser is constantly trying to bait readers with underhanded mentions of Sophie like this one.

And this one is just my personal pet peeve. Yes, lightpurple, formerly known as lilacflowers, there is only one perfect human being in the world, and that is Tom Hiddleston. ))
Though, I’ll say, I forgive lilac flowers some of it for her defense of Taylor when Taylor was attacked on CB during the whole Kanye-Swift drama. The attacks on Taylor were just vicious. And no matter how much you dislike her, I don’t get how can you ever take Kanye’s side. He put her naked body, and bodies of other women, on display without permission for financial gain, and he gets a pass?

I meant to post this a couple days ago. I came across this excellent comment on one of the daily Kate Middleton bashing articles. Or should I call them “therapy articles”? Some people seem to have so much rage and anger, they need to find an outlet to vent it out. I guess I can see the upside - posting on CB is free, unlike going to a therapist.
But know this, if you read and absorb and participate in this day after day, the negativity and anger will affect you. It is not harmless. I am talking about posters like Sixer.
Anyway, it is an excellent comment here by lala, which highlights the hypocrisy of CB.

This exchange caught my eye today. I too recently discovered Michael Shannon. I think he is very talented, has a strong screen presence and is very attractive.

I agree with the original poster, though. I think women should hold themselves to the same standard regardless of who they are talking about. Don’t do to others what you wouldn’t like being done to you. Talking about how bangable somebody is, especially when you know they are in a long term relationship is not kosher.
And, excuse me? Michael Shannon is not conventionally attractive? He is drop dead gorgeous. He has classic bone structure. He is a very handsome man. In addition to being an upstanding human being.
I also like his quote about sex, he speaks the truth. "I always say sex scenes in movies, it’s just like having sex, except without any of the pleasure, but all the horror, fear, anxiety, sadness, and loneliness is all there to enjoy, just none of the pleasure part.”
Sex is not always hearts and rainbows. it also involves anxiety, taking a risk, a chance of disappointment . it takes courage to openly acknowledge it.

I started to read Celebitchy a couple of years ago when Bedhead was still on the team. As someone who likes to read Hollywood Gossip, Celebitchy was a pretty good option. They publish everything in the morning, the tone wasn’t overly sexual like on other sites and they offered like a resume of the main news of the day/week with a little debate and different opinions. (1/5)
But everything started to fall apart as Kaiser started to write more and more. She seems someone who is pretty sheltered and doesn’t have contact with regular people in the real world. (2/5)
She calls herself a feminist but is the first one to start a witch hunt over the girlfriend or wife of her favorite actors. Kaiser used to write almost every week about Benedict Cumberbatch and she was so in love with him, but suddenly Ben got married and she started to hate him and his wife. The same happened with Michael Fassbender and his girlfriend. (3/5)
Her obsession with Angelina Jolie is annoying. I get it that everyone has their favorites but in her eyes anyone that doesn’t adore Angelina is a misogynist. The site now has become all Trump. I’m not american and I understand the US is in a difficult situation with him, but if I want to read political news i’m not going to choose a site called CeleBITCHY!!! One or two posts are fine, but lately is only Trump post on the front page. (4/5)
Anyway, i’m rambling now I just wish Hecate or Corey would write more, the seem nice people. (5/5)
———————————————
I agree with you assessment of Kaiser. She seems limited in her life experiences and she tries too hard too be edgy and progressive. There is no nuance with her. The other writers are much more positive.
I also noticed that Kaiser and some posters are only feminist when they talk about someone they like. If it is someone they don’t like, the feminism is completely forgotten.
I am a fan of Cumberbatch and Vilkander, and at some point I simply stopped clicking on their posts because the constant negativity and snide posts started getting to me. Celebitchy also has many Hiddleston fans, who are very competitive when it comes to Cumberbatch vs. Hiddleston, to the point that there is nothing that Cumberbtach can do right in their eyes. No offense to Hiddleston fans reading. When it comes to our faves we can’t be objective. ))

In today’s update of why Celebitchy sucks, people in the comments are accusing people of being racist for not liking Beyonce.
Kaiser makes a post basically putting down another women(Kate Upton) to bring up another (Serena Williams) and then she deletes a bunch of comments calling her out on it. Including a comment from a poster who asked why the comments were gone and another commentor agreeing that a bunch of comments she replied to were also gone.
Kaiser needs to get a grip. She always capes for black people and talks about the lack of diversity, yet she doesn’t even feature a bunch of black celebs on her own site.
When she does its only to racebait. The only reason she talks about black women or men, is when she’s trying to clickbait. Also isn’t the owner a “Becky”?(Kaiser’s favorite word, along with “bland” and “privilege”)
(I’m black by the way)
In her mind black women are worth more than any non black women. So unless your black or poor you have to shut up and not say anything.
Unless you are Angie Jolie. Unless you are a white person they like.
My issue with the race baiting is it doesn’t seem like it’s real criticism most of the time, it’s just Kaiser knowing what gets the clicks. Kaiser making a story. She makes a issue out of nothing.
If your punchline becomes “she or he is white” every damn time, then it becomes a gimmick.
White privilege doesn’t apply to people she likes.
She is just so limited and so predictable.
20 Kate Middleton posts a day, A Tom Hiddleston post.12 Trump posts. A Beyonce race baiting post.A post that includes Taylor Swift even if she has nothing to do with the topic.
Lol, I hate read the site just so can bitch about it here. I’m so happy this site exists.
I’m not giving them anymore of my time or clicks, even if it’s funny to watch them overreact to everything.
It’s just getting sad now.
————————————
I read that Beyoncé article too. Beyoncé as a goddess imagery bothered me, for some reason. Others mentioned that Prince and Freddy did similar things as well and they didn’t bother people. I don’t know. I think for me , Prince and Freddy had more talent and also didn’t come across like they believed their own hype 100%. Neither did their fans.
Welcome to the club! I try to check in once a week. But Celebitchy has become so negative lately, it is very unpleasant to check on it even once a week. Or may be I just forgot and it always was that way, but I doubt I would’ve stuck around it if it was always so bad.
The race bating, the negativity are simply overpowering. The other writers, Celebitchy and Hecate, are OK, but Kaiser is getting more and more toxic. I just read the post about the “Lost City of Z” promotion and Kaiser again was saying that she thinks Sienna MIller was “banging” Ben Affleck. Even though, this is not the first time she brought it up and the people in comments always tell her that it wasn’t true as Sienna was with someone else at the time. Kaiser doesn’t care. She doesn’t like Sienna. Can you tell? ))
I also like some of regulars there like Sixer, who seems like a very balanced person. But lately I soured on them as well. I am sure the toxicity and race baiting haven’t escaped them, yet they don’t say anything, don’t call Kaiser out.
I have noticed something. Every hateful, Racebaiting, one sided post is from Kaiser. The reaat of the writers have positive and interesting stories, while Kaiser just writes about the same shit everyday.
Today she just went in on Ed Sheeran for…I guess, talking about his life while being white?
She she is racist. Im saying saying this as a black women, she hates white people and blames them for every fucking thing.
Oh, well only certain white people get a pass. She needs to find a new phase because she basically copies shit from her Twitter feed that other people tweet and creates a issue.
Everything is about, “white privilege” I’m sick of it, because her also racist and one minded commenters always fall for it.
Shut up, stop being hateful and form better agruments instead of regurating shit from your Twitter feed and whatever the extreme left SJW are saying. I’m liberal as hell, but god, Kaiser YOU are the prime example of the SJW who miss the point. Who make a issue out of every fucking thing and no one takes you serious.
She sucks, and I really hope Celebitchy fires her because all she does is spews unnesscary hate, and uses the white card, whenever she can come up with a real reason she hates someone.
Have a opinion of your own.
————————————————————
Absolutely. There are all kinds of bating going on. It is her strategy. Quite often Kaiser intentionally misrepresents a situation to make it sound worse than it is to get people riled up.
I checked the site yesterday and there was an article about her not being happy that Patriots won the Superbowl because Trump likes that team or some nonsense like that. She managed to make the Superbowl about Trump somehow.
Today there is an article about Paltrow. I read the first 6 comments and couldn’t take it anymore. They were all so negative. Kaiser poisoned not only the content of the site but even the posters now seem so much more bitter and negative.
I pulled the latest Celebitchy.com stats. it looks like they found their “new normal” and stabilized at this level. They will probably continue bleed some readers but slowly. At this point it is up to the owner to decide whether the site is worth maintaining for the level of income it brings, which is probably about 3 times less than it was a year ago.
I checked the articles for the last few days. Every single article seems to have some kind of a political catch or bait. If you agree with the writer 100% of the time, then good for you. If not, commenting would most likely not end well.
January 17th

January 28th

I’m sad to have found this site, but also happy because of the disillusionment of CB as it stands. I am a longtime poster, back when K was a commenter, I saw her rise to a writer and amazing writers like Jaybird drop off. The site was always fun for me, and in the past few years that I’ve been commenting, I’ve always felt very pro CB. I knew a lot of the users, the users knew me, and I delightfully engaged in convos I don’t normally have in person. I deeply appreciate having a forum to discuss things like this openly, and engaged. For the most part I found there were some emphatic people depending on which crazy was being posted about (Leann/Eddie-Cumberbatch-Angelina/Jennifer etc) but I found other comments to postings to be insightful, educational and fun.
I’ve never been blocked, and I have only had a handful of comments deleted. I’ve always been in moderation from my first post, so I think when I started posting (I only read for a good 5 years before ever posting) the rules had changed and everyone went straight into moderation. I didn’t necessarily think anything of it, since every comment went through.
I’ve always had a problem with K and her style. At times I found it immature, other times unoriginal and other times I found it combative, aggressive and coming from a wounded place. This would at times annoy the hell out of me, and other times, as I grew to know some of the commenters, it annoyed me less because I was more interested in the content and couldn’t care less about K.
For the most part, I find the site, and it’s commenters to be normal. I think it’s gotten better with tonality, with having more women of POC being stood up for during this election season, which certainly isn’t any praise for the writers, but I was glad to see it. Of course if you like Trump, that wasn’t the place for you, but that’s the case on a lot of liberal websites, so I won’t place the blame game there. The hive mentality can also occur anywhere where posting comments is allowed, so that I don’t care about either. I’ve never had the hive go against me, but I have had some commenters not like things I’ve posted. That part doesn’t bother me and can lead to some good debate.
Recently, I’ve seen a few things. The first thing I noticed was K lifting/plagarizing commenters. That struck me and raised notice. I remember thinking a particular comment was incredibly funny and unique and then saw K post the idea of the comment almost exactly. I wish there had been a way for me to ask that commenter if they noticed, but obvisouly I couldn’t. I think that was my first sign that something bigger was going on.Then, I noticed that a few of my comments got deleted. One was when I said I thought that Lainey posted like a 15 year old, and another was a reply to an Angelina stan. Neither were remarkable, I’m a polite poster even when I disagree. But both comments were deleted twice, even when I made each comment as vanilla as possible. I have to be honest when I say that annoyed the hell out of me.
I did a little research and wound up on another thread, reading about people being banned and everything. I think after reading that, I was tainted and more annoyed because I saw just how many people, how many commenters I knew being banned left and right, over the same things. Short note it was always about Kaiser. Always. After that whenever I went back to post I couldn’t stop thinking about K and how the bigger picture shows someone control hungry, power hungry, controlling. Not freedom of speech. Not good conversation in fun. Some things you see you can’t unsee, and this was the case I found with K, her posts and her heavy moderation hand. Unless people are cursing other people out etc, I don’t think any comment should be deleted. It’s a joke. If someone wants to call another commenter out for being aggressive and rude to other commenters, they should be allowed to.
Also, it’s embarrassing, in my opinion, that a writer would attack their commenters in the way she has in the past. That’s dirty, distgusting, vile behavior from someone in a position of power, I don’t care who it is, or how she was working alone or whatever. If you can’t hack all aspects of your job with decorum and grace, then you need to step away. That there is proof around of her nastiness would embarras me to my very core, if I were her.
Basically all the website is, is her reading news from various outlets, possibly reading the comments on other sites too, and then regurgutating it for the people. I don’t care that she does that but let us call a spade a spade. She’s not doing investigative journalism, she’s not breaking stories, she’s collecting and curating news, reporting her spin and then heavily moderating anyone who doesn’t agree, and then some. It’s beyond frustrating.
But I do love so many of the commenters, and their perspective, but I’m having a harder time lately commenting, because I see the injustice. I want to tell everyone else about these sites, so they know, but alas, no way to send out the smoke signal. And then other times I think, you know what, let this chick have her glory or whatever. I would actually hate to have her job, and the constant need for approval, the heavy moderation, scouring the web for things to write about. Every post is an open ended question designed to make people comment and give their opinion.
It looks like the message got cut off.
I agree with you. Finding racial issues with “La La Land” seems to be reaching too far.
I checked out Celebitchy today. It seems today is a “whitesplaining” and “white privilege" day.
I liked the article from Celebitchy about Peta’s and Max’s baby. It was like a breath of fresh air. No negativity, just a personal opinion. In contrast, Kaiser’s articles are passive aggressive. It is as if she can’t help herself, all her articles are infused with negativity. It is draining. And she never gives her straight opinion, it is usually - this or that, what do you think, with heavy shade throughout. I suspect she is afraid to give her honest opinion because she is afraid of criticism, she is too thin skinned. So she is always hedging.
There is a Sherlock article, Kaiser calls the 4th season “absolute garbage”. Ok. The bloom has been off the Cumberbatch rose for a while now with Kaiser. I only saw parts of the 4th season, but in my humble opinion it is better than the 3rd season.
On the bright side, no Kate Middleton or Trump articles today.

I was banned because I wanted to comment on the utter bullshhh that was this post I linked.
Celebitchy is a site thatisys known for jumping the gun on anything. A site where Kaiser reguarly manipulates statements and quotes from celebs to make them mean what Kaiser wants them to mean.
A site that overanalyzes EVERYTHING. A site that spouts speculation as fact.
A site that puts certain celebs on pedestals while condemning other Celebs for one little thing.
A site that should be a blog with no comment section. Why have a comment section, if the person who writes the articles, doesn’t want to hear opinions that don’t agree with her?
How come only regulars get to respectfully disagree?
Whenever a white person does anything it becomes a excuse for Kaiser to use her favorite pharse, “white privilege” and basically generalize a whole group of people based on ones person’s actions.(I’m black btw and I actually get offended by some of the race baiting articles Kaiser puts up)
The hate for Kate Middleton that is encouraged on Celebitchy by Kaiser is disgusting and hypocritical.
In fact, any person Kaiser doesn’t like can always be told by the amount of tabloid lies she posts about them.
Any old rag or website that mentions Kate Middleton is made into a article on Celebitchy.
Especially if it is negative just so they trash her. Doesn’t matter if it is true, false or whatever. If a post even mentions the royals the comments are always littered with people trashing this Women. She posts nonsensical news about her Daily.
Kaiser goes out her way to reach and pull any excuse to mention Kate in a negative way in ANY royals post. Will as well. Even if it has nothing at all to do with Kate.
Just like she does with the Angie and Brad divorce threads. Kaiser will post news that is weeks old or from obviously made up and known story telling websites. Just to get those clicks.
There are post on Brad Pitt from websites like “The Star” sites that no one would take serious and are obviously lies but it fits Kaiser’s narrative.
This is a site that totes itself as a feminist site, a site for women to gossip and share there ideas.A site that regularly talks about misogyny, shaming and double standards. A safe place for diverse women to openly discuss celeb gossip. Yet Kaiser doesn’t allow diverse opinion.
If your name is Aniston, Swift, Middleton, Gaga, or any of the many other women this site hates then people can say whatever they want about you.
No PC dogpiling or long novels on those threads.
Anyway, in the thread I linked people were accusing Kate M. of having disabilities both mentally and physically. Kaiser says she wants to appear “coy and childlike” because she stands a certain way.
People are calling her all types of things and are telling anyone who says that they are being nit picky, mean, and bullies for dissecting this women because she stands a certain way, is wrong or its okay because it’s “true”
All of this because SHE STANDS A CERTAIN WAY WITH HER CLUTCH.
We all know how moderated the comments are on Celebitchy.
So, basically that means that Kaiser or whoever moderates agrees and think that picking Kate apart on the multiple Hate Bait Articles a day, is okay. Kaiser is obessed with hating this women.
I’m not a fan of Kate, but it just astounding to me that the same people who complained about issues such double standards, bullying, body policing and shaming (Kaiser, and a few regular commenters) in other threads, think that it is okay to do to women they dislike.
So I was banned because I tried to called them out on it
Just like I tried to when Kaiser accused Kate of smoking while pregnant with no proof, or a when commenter called her trashy for wearing jeggings, or when they called her mentally delayed because she likes adult coloring books.
I was told the other day that I took “a very superficial look at the threads because we are some of the most informed and fair commenters” by one of the leaders of the Hate Kate Squad “NoSugarHere”
Really? For anyone who wants to know why this Tumblr exists and is needed, please read the thread on Kate Middleton.
Count how many comments that are basically shaming her for existing. Read how many threads are posted a day about people that Kaiser hates and read how much gossip is actually being reported.
I bet you will see that there is none. Kaiser just has to get her hate quota for the day out by basically crapping on anyone that she personally hates.
All while finding gossip from dodgy websites. But if it makes the person she personally hates look bad then why not?
I blame Kaiser for the downfall of what once was a informative, smart, leveled website.
Now it.is .just a equo chamber being controlled by a stuck up her.own ass, judgy, misoyginsitic, hypocritical, mean spirited, biased, race baiting, click baiting women.
(I’m sorry for the long post. I was just so happy to see a place like this existed and I had to get my rant out. So it’s probably littered with all types of typos and errors. Please forgive me.)

You are welcome and I completely understand the need to vent. )) That is why I created this blog. When I was moderated and banned I felt like they were taking away my voice and my power, and I wasn’t going to stand around and let that happen to me. Nobody puts Baby in the corner. ))
I know. Being banned is a good thing in a way, otherwise I’d be tempted to say something, but in reality these posters chose to see things that way because that is how they like it. it is no use trying to reason with them.
Celebitchy.com website traffic stats for 12/28.

I checked out the last week posts on Celebitchy.com. It has now basically three major categories of articles - Jolie/Pitt divorce, Trump hate and Kate Middleton hate. There are other articles here and there with about 20 comments because pretty much all regular people have been banned and only the devotees of the party line remain.
Ivanka Trump’s article about the incident on Jet Blue has 400+ comments. And since even the regulars have hard time justifying what happened they resorted to conspiracy theories, saying that it was all set up. Others are saying that it is justifiable because they are Trump’s kin. Yeah, no way it is justifiable.
Here is a post I agree with myself. Notice that the poster knows that she is likely to get banned for going against the party line.

And here is a reply to this post from one of the “approved” posters on the site. Judge for yourself.

Celebitchy.com website traffic stats for 12/15.

Ah, well. I don’t see the posters I liked the other day anymore. I guess they were banned after all.
There are three articles from Celebitchy as well today. Not at all articles are bad. Kaiser’s articles are the most insipid, though. She can’t even state her opinion clearly. Every article is a question - is it this or that?
I don’t care for that site either, really. It is mostly just morbid curiosity at this point. I can no longer see even harmless articles about fashion in the same light because of the unbelievable hypocrisy of many posters there. If they like a woman, all is forgiven. If they don’t, then they will find a reason to tear her down.

Anon:
Kaiser is the downfall of that site. She is a bully and ALL if her views are one-sided.
Everyone in that sites talks about being feminist yet they constantly pick apart women they don’t like.
For example, you can’t say anything negative about Angie Jolie, yet ever Kaye Middleton post is only.there to be mean and pick apart everything about her.
Talk about her body and everything.
She is a big bully. Period.

Completely agree with you. Kaiser found another easy target - Melania Trump. Kaiser likes to post about her because an article about Melania will for sure get 100+ comments without Kaiser having to do any work, other than posting a Melania's picture. All the speculations about Melania’s son were also pretty disturbing.
People on Celebitchy justify their nastiness towards Melania, the criticism of her looks and clothes, by saying that she signed up for it. But to me it is just pure hypocrisy. There was also an article about Brisol Palin yesterday where the same thing happened. The posters feel free to denigrate a woman just because she has different political view from them. That is not feminism.
It seems Celebitchy owners have noticed that not all is well. Today on the site there are three articles written by Celebitchy herself, she usually writes one, two by Corey and two by Hecate and numerous by Kaiser, as usual.
Yesterday I noticed an anti-Hillary poster who was openly trolling, and also a couple of reasonable posters who pointed out that Hillary lost because of her own mistakes.
So I guess that means that Celebitchy has figured out that banning everyone who doesn’t toe the party line is not a good business strategy. We shall see whether these posters disappear or not.
I still think Celebitchy is going to fail despite all of this. The site became too toxic and these half-hearted measures will not save it.
Web traffic stats for Celebitchy.com for today 12/08

Oh the irony. The Celebitchy.com has an article “ Madonna’s theory about why Donald Trump won: ‘Women hate women “
And below there are hundreds of comments by women about how awful “the other” women are. Of course, the posters think themselves perfect and it is lost on them that they engage exactly in the same behavior they criticize.
On Celebitchy.com today
With website’s traffic dropping like a stone it is time to bait Cumberbatch fans again with a headline “Benedict Cumberbatch worries he’s perceived as white, male, upper-class” with some race baiting on a side. This is willful misrepresentation of what Cumberbatch said. That GQ article is at least a week old already. It is a very clear attempt to drum up more traffic. Kaiser also constantly tries to bait his wife’s haters with fake sympathy for Sophie.
Kaiser says “I had been hoping to completely ignore all of the rumors about Barron Trump” and then to proceeds to post an article about it. Nobody forced her to write that article. If she didn’t want to write it, she didn’t have to.
More Depp-Heard, Kanye West, Kardashians and Trump drama. It all feels very negative. I think that is my main problem with it. I don’t even know what is there to discuss with Depp. He is messed up and needs help. So does Kanye. Nobody makes excuses for Depp but there are endless excuses for Kanye. And since most posters on the site see Trump as Satan incarnate what is the point of posts about him? The posters drive each over the edge with all the emotions.
As usually, in Kaiser’s opinion Kate Middleton cannot do anything right.
This Lancelot poster seems to be very invested in defense of Celebitchy. One wonders why.
The Celbitchy posters love to talk about how people can’t judge one’s experience. Lancelot cannot tell us we didn’t feel bullied and treated unjustly. It is not just you and me who were selectively moderated and banned but many people. We didn’t all just imagined it.
